Hi Maggie! go eco-friendly pest control! we just moved to san diego and have SPIDERS (ick ick ick!) in our house. We have cats so i always fear strong pest control with insecticides, so is SOOO good to know that there all eco-friendly options!

Maggie Madison September 20, 2009 at 4:47 PM

Hi Darcy, Yep the spiders get me every time,too. My cat used to be THE MAN with all bugs, but where I used to live there were so many, I had to resort to a non-toxic concoction. I bet EcoSmart will work for you!

llinda29 September 23, 2009 at 8:49 PM

I can do a lot of good in my home

riley September 24, 2009 at 2:26 AM

Living in a tropical climate means bugs. But I don't have to like them! Would love to try these pest control products, since w/two little ones and a dog, I stay away from toxic products.

This is a big dilemma for us - we want to respect the environment but not ALL the environment. Some of them creepy critters have got to GO.

Anonymous September 24, 2009 at 4:59 AM

Ecosmart products would be one more way that I am going green.

We battle ants all the time, a safer ant killer would rock my socks!

rbailey1958 September 24, 2009 at 7:36 AM

We can't seem 2 get the fleas under control in our home. Even w/Frontline Plus. Maybe this would help

We are having issues with mosquitoes, fruit flies, and houseflies right now. Oh, how I'd love some of this stuff! We are a chemical-free house so it's tough--fly paper just doesn't work that well!

I have some of their Ant & Roach spray, which works great--I rally think this town was built on a giant anthill!

@llinda29-yes, it's a better feeling to know even if you have to kill insects, at least you're being green about it!
@riley yes! I remember that's the one thing I didn't like about the tropics--those cockroaches!
@ky2here I'm totally with ya!
@traymona every little bit helps!
@Kris man for an insect so small, they sure can be hard to get rid of!
@railey1958-Yikes re: fleas! EcoSmart should help!
@jennem I hear you. We are pesticide free, too, so I looked up all the unfamiliar ingredients and was very pleased nothing was a pesticide!

Maggie Madison September 24, 2009 at 4:31 PM

@clynsg you know now that you mention it, my town IS slightly elevated like a giant anthill hmm..
@Nikki57 yes, it's so hard to find stuff safe for use around pets!
@andreab-yes what is up with the ants seeking higher ground in our houses? aren't anthills supposed to be water proof?

Tinyblessing September 24, 2009 at 5:19 PM

We live in the middle of the woods with every bug imaginable! I have pets so I am very peculiar about which products I will use. In fact, most of our pesticide control comes from a paper towel squishing a bug...LOL. Thanks!

@Charity-me too. For something so small, insects really make the hair on the back of my neck stand up!
@roseannpm-I think it may work indirectly by eliminating the food source
@sherri419-the woods are an insect zoo, good luck!
